A trip to Trick Eye Museum Singapore

My trip to Trick Eye Museum Singapore was enjoyable! I was invited by TIN to experience Trick Eye Museum’s New Themed Zones & Interactive 4D Concept at Sentosa. I brought XS along that day as she was free. We were all so excited as it was our first time going there! Pleased to find a Merlion Boat inside the museum. Now I can ride a Merlion! Hahahaha…. Into Fantasy? Escape yourself with this Flower Ball and Beautiful Bubble Lady. Their themed art and visual were so realistic. I had a great time taking many pictures there! I got trapped by a Giant Baby. Help!! No worries. Here comes my hero to the rescue.…

Mocha Swiss Roll (Yule Log Cake)

For my last Christmas recipe of this 2015, I will be sharing my Mocha Swiss Roll. A.k.a, Mocha Yule Log Cake. Impressive and so delicious. The flavor mocha has been popularized among our local bakeries. You can find all kinds of mocha desserts everyone. Range from breads (eg. Roti Papa) to cakes with cream.  Not a cake decorator? Nevermind, this swiss log (or log cake…) will be covered with lots of chopped peanuts and chocolate chips. All your flaws can now be covered. Hahaha

    Matcha Mille Crepe Cake (抹茶ミルクレープの作り方)

Matcha Mille Crepe Cake! This is so good! I love Matcha so much. It is so so tasty!  This is a very impressive cake, yet making Mille Crepe Cake is actually very simple. Look at those lovely layers! Layered with cream, it is very creamy and refreshing when you bite onto it. You don’t need an oven to make this, great for people who wants to bake but don’t have one. I had it when my sister got me some of these when she was in town. It was a bombed so I decided to recreate it. It is something special so I decided to put it as one of…

Strawberry Jelly Tofu Cheese Cake (Low-Calorie) – Christmas

Can you believe that this was made up of tofu? This cheesecake is low in calories compared to the conventional ones. The cheese layer was mainly made up of cream cheese, tofu and yogurt. No heavy cream was added. In fact, I actually made it using natural sweetener called Stevia! I will talk to you guys about it very soon as it is my ongoing project I have been working on. Meanwhile, let’s head back to this recipe. ^^ It is great for vegetarians too as I had used agar agar powder instead of gelatin. It is light and refreshing, yet somehow creamy. I really love this dessert especially after a heavy meal…

Orange Chiffon Cake with Orange Custard and Whipped Cream Cheese

Adapted from my Pandan Chiffon Cake, this is a foolproof zesty recipe. Orange Chiffon Cake! YUM.   Sandwiched with orangy custard, creamed with whipped maple cream cheese frosting  and top it off with strawberries. Not too sweet but still refreshing and creamy!   You could garnish it with orange zest and mint leaves. I’m lazy so I just spread both the custard and the frosting to give that very rustic homemade look.    To be honest, I am not a good cake decorator. I realized it was a little slanted. But, oh well…..

Heavenly White with touch of Blue – Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall

So the other day I came across a picture taken in Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall. I was like, “I must visit there! It looks so heavenly!” I went the subsequent week. I ‘jio’ Sun along since she was free on that day. She was my photographer of the day.  😉  I really love the blue flowery shirt I got from Alcoholiday at Cathay Cineleisure. It goes well with my orangy-brown pants.   The bag I held that day was made by Feger. It’s affordable while looking chic. Michael Kors watch, my mom got for me when we were in America. Simple and classic. Hahaha, I still think that we were a…
