    Berry Buttercream Frosting

Today I will show you how to make Berry Buttercream. You can replace any jam that you like and it will be great too! Not too sweet but sweet enough. Goes really great with my ‘Easy Chocolate Cupcake‘! I suggest you to put it in the fridge for at least 30 to 40 minutes to let it set so that it will be easier to pipe, especially if you are living in a tropical climate like me. (hot and humid >_<)  Recipe uses “Easy Chocolate Cupcake” (http://youtu.be/udIhMISwfIo)

    Easy Chocolate Cupcake (Dairy-Free, Egg-Free)

Super easy chocolate cupcake. No butter, no eggs, no milk. Super simple, great for vegans too! I think chocolate cake, should taste like chocolate. But I am also a very lazy person, would love to do things the easy way. And therefore, I found this recipe and was amazed how delicious these chocolate cupcakes were even though it is so simple. Recipe comes with “Berry Buttercream Frosting” (http://youtu.be/0y0F0NaN8bs) Okay okay okay, I know my piping skills is’t great but I have to say, the photo above was made with my friends and I piped the better looking ones. (Not to brag but I don’t want to lose face hahaha….)

    Chocolate Chip Muffins

Love this recipe, it is perfect for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea break. I love to make these and wrap it with a cute plastic bag for my friends. These muffins taste best on the day itself, of course you could freeze it up to several months and pop it into the microwave when you need it or just hurry for a quick breakfast. I have made these muffins so many times that sometimes I don’t even need to look at my recipe book, and people always come back asking for more. Made some for one of my family gatherings along with some Nutella puff pastry.

    Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

I love frozen yogurt. But the reason why I don’t really want to have it often is because it it is not readily available in any supermarket (I assume) and Premium Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt cost a bomb in Singapore. I found a easy recipe for Strawberry Frozen Yogurt. Quickly, I made a trip down to the market to stock up the ingredients I need for this recipes. As expected, this homemade frozen yogurt is as good as or even better than those premium self-serve frozen yogurt that you get in a store. Not only that, you know what’s going into your stomach and save you some money.

    Jelly Cake (Agar Agar Cake)

I loved jelly with fruits in it, I also loved buttery cake. One day I told myself, “Hey, why not combine it together?”. I’m glad that I thought of it! It turn out to be so delicious, so yummy! It is refreshing when you consume it cool. You guys definitely have to try this, is just so fast and easy! I used agar agar powder which is extracted from seaweed. It contain lots fibre, so it’s really healthy! Don’t forget that strawberries are high in antioxidant! As I stated above, agar agar is made from seaweed, which is great for vegans and vegetarians.  I’m sure lots of Asian prefer agar…

Pineapple Tart – Enclosed – Chinese New Year

I will show you how to make pineapple tart or roll (or ball…) Anyway Singaporeans (so do Malaysian) loves to eat pineapple tart especially during Chinese New Year! And buying good pineapple tart at that period can go up to $25 SGD dollars. How expansive! Why not make yourself with those simple ingredients? I think a good pineapple tart should have a buttery salty flavor for the crust and good balanced ratio of crust to filling. I just love that this recipe gave a melt-in-effect when you bite into it. I remembered making quite a few different batches of pineapple tart and finally found the right ratio.    If…
