Strawberry Jelly Tofu Cheese Cake (Low-Calorie) – Christmas
Can you believe that this was made up of tofu? This cheesecake is low in calories compared to the conventional ones. The cheese layer was mainly made up of cream cheese, tofu and yogurt. No heavy cream was added. In fact, I actually made it using natural sweetener called Stevia! I will talk to you guys about it very soon as it is my ongoing project I have been working on. Meanwhile, let’s head back to this recipe. ^^ It is great for vegetarians too as I had used agar agar powder instead of gelatin. It is light and refreshing, yet somehow creamy. I really love this dessert especially after a heavy meal…

Orange Chiffon Cake with Orange Custard and Whipped Cream Cheese
Adapted from my Pandan Chiffon Cake, this is a foolproof zesty recipe. Orange Chiffon Cake! YUM. Sandwiched with orangy custard, creamed with whipped maple cream cheese frosting and top it off with strawberries. Not too sweet but still refreshing and creamy! You could garnish it with orange zest and mint leaves. I’m lazy so I just spread both the custard and the frosting to give that very rustic homemade look. To be honest, I am not a good cake decorator. I realized it was a little slanted. But, oh well…..
Jam Drops (Thumbprint Cookies)
Don’t you just love something that is buttery and jelly? In Singapore (since we follow the British), we call these Jam Drop biscuits. But in America, it is commonly known as Thumbprint Cookies. Nevertheless the names, they are the same and super delicious. Basic butter cookie with wonderful sweet jam in the center. They are great as a meetup gift, so be sure to double or even triple the recipe! It will sure be gone in just a few hours time.

Japanese Butter Roll (Crescent Roll) バターロールのレシピ
If you are looking for a soft, fluffy yet slightly chewy perfect white bread recipe. This post is for you. You may spread some butter and jam on these Japanese Butter Rolls, make it into sandwiches or just eat it plain. It’s a basic bread dough that you should master it. Once mastered, you could experiment and make different variations. Sure you say this looks like Crescent Roll, but I beg to differ. (Well, maybe you could say it’s my version of Crescent Roll) Recipes of Crescent Roll often result in a more dense and compact bread. Which, I think it’s not look appealing. Basically, not a good bread dough. This is beauty. After all…
Baked Donuts – 3 ways – Just like fried!
Nobody will believe you that these are not fried donuts. But, they are not! They are my baked donuts. Cut off the extra fats, not goodness. I don’t really like the idea of having to fry these a few at one time. Not only it is tedious, but also horrible! I often get those oil splattering on my arm and I can tell you it’s not a funny situation. Why fry when you can bake it all at one goal? My aim is to always do things the fuss-free, calm, and easy way. This recipe is very versatile and you can make many different donuts of your choice. In this…
Low-Fat Almond Muffins
Super simple Low-Fat Almond Muffins! I really like this muffin recipe because not only it is so simple, it is also light and refreshing. These muffins have a subtly nutty sweet flavor due to the combination of almonds and apple together. Make it gluten-free by using all ground almonds instead of plain flour. I have used my homemade applesauce for this recipe.
Homemade Unsweetened Applesauce
Back to basics, today’s recipe will be some delicious homemade applesauce! Serve it with a main dish, use it in baking or even just eat it as a plain dessert. There are so many ways to eat applesauce. Some like with cinnamon, some like with extra sugar or honey. For me, I prefer to eat it just as it is. I will also be using this recipe for my upcoming Fat-free Almond Muffins. So stay tuned!
