Matcha Ice Cream – No Machine No-Churn One Step
From my recent trip to Japan, Osaka I came to love the flavor, matcha (green tea). It’s so fascinating that matcha flavored foods can range from KitKat to Ice cream. This recipe is inspired from this trip and recently I came across Nigella Lawson’s One Step No-Churn No-Machine Ice Cream and instantly fell in love with her fuss-free easy ice cream recipe. A lot of my viewers asked me if I could show them how to make ice cream without an ice cream maker. No doubt that to have an ice cream maker will sure to get you creamy ice cream but this no-machine ice cream recipe is just as good if not…
Removal of Impacted Teeth – Teeth Straightening Part 1
It was a pain in the ass. My teeth is not perfect and I really wanted to straighten my teeth. But what set me back for the past few years was the ugly metal wire of braces and the food restriction. I am not ready to embrace my 2 years of youth with braces. No, never! Then, Invisalign was introduced to me and I was all so happy to get started with my treatment. (I will talk about it later) But my worse nightmare began when I went for an X-Ray and was found that I had 2 impacted (hidden) teeth in my hard palate. Gosh! My doctor told me…

Prom Night 2014
So it’s my graduating year this 2014. My peers and I were looking forward for our Prom Night. Excitedly yet to be honest, I was not really that prepared for it at all. 😕 All my peers were eagerly preparing, spending a few hundred bucks on clothes for that one and only night. I was envious but at the same time lazy, and tried to be ‘cost-efficient’ so I did not buying anything. I feel that my size is going to change in future anyway, it will be a waste of money to buy something that I am going to wear once. Hahahas… Initially, I wanted to buy a blazer…
Thai Basil Rice – Thai Vegetarian
Nobody is going to believe me that this is vegetarian. This vegetarian Thai Basil Rice has all the essentials of a normal pork Thai basil rice that makes it so real. Lots of garlic and onion are added to simulate our tongue to make it taste ‘meaty’. And once you freeze and thaw your Tawkua (Firm tofu), the whole texture will change. It will be slightly chewier and you will have to squeeze the water out, so that later your ‘meat’ will not be soggy. Sure you can go ahead and use a normal Tawkua, but if you have the time to freeze it. Why not?
Ultimate Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
I have made this Ultimate Chocolate Buttercream Frosting so many times because everyone loved it. It goes great with my Easy Chocolate Cupcake and my Yule Log Cake. I also have made it with classic vanilla cupcake too! Just to be sure you make enough for everyone!
Yule Log Cake
My recipe for the Yule Log Cake is fairly simple to prepare. It is a great choice for Christmas. You can be creative and customize into any size and shape. You also will need my Chocolate Buttercream Frosting to cover the cake.
Hearty Pandan Waffles – Singapore-Style (Gluten Free)
I love waffles. I often remember when I was young I used to buy pandan waffles nearby my house at a local bakery store. They are deliciously sandwiched with some jam or spread and one of my favorite was blueberry , although now I like nutella and cheese. I decided that I would want to create a recipe that is resemble to what I had when I was young but yet still deliciously hearty. This recipe is gluten-free, packs full of fibre and high in nutritional value from the oats. Also, no want will will know that there’s spinach inside! I used my new waffle maker and it will make 2…
